My RV grave

I told my dear wife that I could not in good conscience go to my RV grave in a class C so I hotfooted up to Green Bay and drove away in Nitehawks Grand Villa.
I left him and Mary very sad but happy their baby is going to a good home, it's 11:00 am and I'm an hour out of Omaha.
Should be home tomorrow evening weather permitting.
Class C no just plain old CLASS

So glad his coach went to a good home.  The DW and I were going to pull the trigger but procrastinated on a very good coach at a very good price. 
  From what I know it was worth twice as much. Very clean.

It's been 2 weeks since I had the pleasure of meeting the most obnoxious person I have ever met but that's a story for later.
I left Norm and Mary's in the early evening of Boxing Day and headed out before the coming storm, Norm said they had a half inch of ice and the a foot and half of snow so I dodged that !
I drove to Iowa 80 truck stop and slept for a few hours then up for breakfast and back on the road. I spent most of the next day driving through drizzle clear to the west side of Lincoln Neb where the skies finally cleared.
Made it as far as Big Springs Neb where I drove through a snow squall and just kept going to Wiggins Co and slept for another 4 hours. I managed to get within 50 miles of home when I drove into 5 inches of snow and gallons of Mag Chloride so much for my nice clean coach !
Next day I'm out there washing the crud off the coach, I did so much with the cold water that I gave myself a slight case of hypothermia and went to bed for 3 days, silly old man.
The fun really started when I had to get the coach out to have my VIN number confirmed, finished up at the emissions test and $25 later I've got paperwork.
Back to the DMV only to find out that I now need and emissions test Huh ? Never before but OK.
I drove 34 miles to north east Denver for the test as that was literally the closest place that could do my coach, imagine my surprise when I saw the Dyno. Yes they backed it in and ran a rolling road test.
This was when I met the saddest person I've ever met, this guy was upset because I arrived early ? DUH $110 later I'm heading home.
The DMV were extremely accommodating and let me register my coach as a collectors vehicle so I'm good for the next 5 years, the only restriction was a maximum of 4,500 miles per year. I've got my Colo parks pass for 5 years at $29 per and the total was $632 this doesn't include all the other taxes they hit you with for an out of state vehicle.

Boy, they are really smart at the emissions testing facility. I see on the report that they list the engine as a 6--SIX!!-- cylinder engine.
And the results were reported as OK. Guess that means that the 36 year old Detroit Diesel Turbo-charged V8 with no muffler and around 88,000 miles is still running clean.
And this pic shows our baby nice and clean in its new home. Thank you. We still miss seeing the coach in the driveway.

It would appear that there's more than 1 person in Colorado that's mathematically challenged, according to my vehicle registration my GVWR is now 33,001.
