Maximum water pressure

Does anyone know if Foretravel (or RVs in general) rate their interior water plumbing at some PSI?
Thanks

Bob,

You can try a search of the archives.  We, too, have a 2000 coach, but we always use a Watts water pressure regulator and we are trying real hard to remember to TURN OFF the water bib and the pump whenever we leave the coach.

update:

I tried a search but could not find anything. You can always call James Triana at the factory.  He would know.

George:

We keep our Watts regulator at 55 lbs and thought we had a lot of margin over that. :))  I tried a search before my post and also could not find the psi. Somewhere, I thought I read 85 lbs.

As the factory installed pressure regulator is good for 40psi, I would

"assume" the plumbing would handle that pressure.  Above that amount, it would be a guess.

Where is the factory installed regulator located. I use to in-line regulators, one on campground bib, another at the inlet to my filter.

I wonder what the water pump pressure is?  It provides a lot more pressure than shore water which is at about 45 psi due to the pressure reducer that we routinely use.

I wonder what the water pump pressure is?

The Aquajet ours came with is spec'd 5.3 gpm, 65 psi @ 10 amps.

On mine, it is located behind the panel where the "city" water connection is mounted.

The hole in it that passes the water is slightly over 1/4" in diameter.

As we never hook up to city water even for a short while, I removed the regulator to improve water flow.  I am considering getting a Watts regulator with more pass through capacity.  We always operate off of the internal water pump.
