Plumbing questions

Two questions..... 2003 coach, U295

1.  When I run the black tank water flush there seems to be a lot of back pressure when I remove the hose (i.e., water comes gushing out....maybe a pint or two).  Is it some sort of a spray arrangement inside the tank?  Could it be plugged?  There is small amount of water getting through.... I can see it coming out.

2.  The other day a friend used our head.  He mistakenly turned on the fresh water fill and we didn't notice till several hours later.  The fresh tank was full, but there was no over flow on ground and all the bays were fine.  Does it just turn itself off when full?  We have a pressure reducer on the fresh water supply and it usually runs about 40-45psi.

Thanks in advance.

On our 2003 there IS a floating fresh water shut off valve when it is full.

There is a sprayer inside the tank.
You should be able to hear the spray hitting the tank walls.
There should be a check valve where you hook the hose to preventing fluid from coming out the hose end.
It could be plugged if you do not hear the spray.
