Another (new) alarm going off, now what???

Apparently the transmission panel is more than that?  Today it started beeping, and displays a blinking / (slash) with a - (dash) in the middle of it.  This is with the key off.  It seems to have stopped after I aired up and told it to level.

Our  36 ft '97 U295 had a similar problem recently, ...though the beeping was intermittent as we were driving, and the display would show 6th gear then revert to the 'cat eyes'...dash with slash.
The occurance never stopped us, but we did visit Allison dealers in OKC and Davenport, IA.  A loose connection  on a wire from the transmission touchpad to the ECM was discovered.  We have not seen 'cat eyes' on the monitor since.  The fix now has  some 3,000 miles on it.  We did call James Triana at FOT.  He said that it could be a problem with the touchpad or a connection problem.  Finding the ECM took some time as they are located in different places on the coaches.  Ours was behind the panel by where your left foot rests while driving.

Okay, thank you - at least we have a name for it, cat eyes.  And it's not connected with the HWH, although messing with that made them disappear.  Checked for codes and there were none.  Googleing it brings up that it's generally a voltage problem, either a bad connection, or low battery.  Guess I'll just have to see if it shows up again.  This all happened just sitting in the shop, haven't moved it for a couple of weeks.  It did start right up, but I haven't tried to move it, will do that tomorrow.
