Refrigerator Problem

Went camping this is past week in Galveston, Texas ... Stayed at the state park which is very close to the beach.  When we started the trip from Plano, Texas, refrigerator worked fine.  Then about 5 days into the trip, the fridge stopped working ... there was no power to the control panel ... none of the lights would work.  I checked the fuses on the circuit board and both were OK.  In fact when you hit the "on" button on the fridge, you could hear a click on the circuit board outside.  Just got back to Plano yesterday and for grins, I hit the on button on the fridge ... Viola, it now works.  The humidity in Galveston was close to 100% most of the time so I am thinking maybe that had something to do with .... any ideas?

This is a Dometic side by side unit.  It has an ice maker but we were not using it.

Thanks,
Jimmy

Jimmy, since it is working again, I doubt that you had a catastrophic event with the board. Did you try running the frig on gas while in Galveston? It may have been as simple as the 110V plug behind the frig coming loose from the electrical socket. If it happens again, open the outside door and check the plug. My frig also uses 12V power when on gas. You may want to check that it is getting 12V power also.
