Automatic generator startup

I've done the due diligence....not a new subject but I have a question.  If you're in a "no generators after such and such time,"  isn't that a problem?  I'd assume you disconnect it at night so you're still at risk of depleting your batteries below acceptable levels, right?

I've come across two inexpensive models, the Magnum Energy ME-AGS version S (standalone) or N (network for use with an inverter, for $263, and Xantrex 865-1060 for $159.  Any others I should look up?

Like most systems, there is no such thing as "Idiot proof", so with a little fore thought, you can disable the auto mode any time you like.  Once you become real familiar with your coach and the battery condition etc, you will know how the night will go with or without the generator.
If you start microwaving at midnight, all bets are off :o ;D
Just a thought or FWIW

Thanks Dave, that's about what I thought.  Kind of shoots the purpose of the auto start if one isn't big into boondocking.  But, for $185 or so I will probably go ahead with it anyway.
