Ah.  Clear.  I will fine tune the ride height tomorrow afternoon and set the  quad HID bi/xenon projectors tomorrow night.  I want to see where I'm going and I also want the approaching driver to see where he's going.

Since I retrofitted dual Bi-Xenon HID projectors to my Tahoe with the orig Halogen high beams I'd say you were looking to burn out a few retinas!

It's a work in progress.  I've got the new lights mounted low in original position.  They're connected for quad operation but that can be reconfigured if its too much.  I'm hoping with careful aiming they'll be ok.  If there's a blinding problem then they'll be reconfigured or removed and back to the birthday candle system.

The problem with quad operation, is that oncoming traffic, and traffic I pass, give me the "high brights flash" trying to tell me that I am driving with the highs on.

When I flash my highs, their eyes burn out, the traffic disintergrates into dust from the energy beams and we ride merrily down the road.

Would that work for deicing the road or drying up wet roads?  :P

Drivers coming at ya will just say "criminy...here's another blinder-type bus driver...jiminy cricket".  Of course this is the clean version...you can substitute your favorites in plac of mine... ???

Maybe, maybe not.  These projectors have very sharp cutoffs and I don't see why they should ever hit the other guys in the eyes.  I think the problem with HID conversions is when people install them in their reflector style headlights.  My lights are 23" above the road with a .5" drop per 25' throw.  It may be, though, that even aimed properly I just have too many lumens.  Don't know why I've gotten so focused on headlights since I never drive at night except in extremis.

I'm with you Chuck.  About the only time my Foretravel headlights are on is when driving in the rain...and, even then, I don't plan on driving when it rains...too much overspray, but stuff happens.
