I put a cup of Clorox in the filling hose, then top off the tank, let it sit overnight, drain, fill tank, drain and fill the tank for use. Works for me!

Use a solotion made from 1/4 cup bleach per gallon water,

1 gal solution per 15 gal tank capacity.

This equivalent to 1.8 cups Bleach per 110 gals Water.

I've insatalled a whole house water filter before the water intake on the U270.  I don't know your set up, but I add the bleach to the empty (w/o filter) canister and add the water to fill the tank.  If you can't do that, add the bleach to the hose and add the bleach that way.  wear gloves and don't get any bleach on the floor...just kidding... ;)

Here is a modification for a Water tank gravity fill for making it easy to add bleach

I use a standard garden style "sprayette" filled about half-and-half with water/bleach (about a quart total) and connected in-line between the water-spigot and the water-hose on the coach. I fill the water-tank, run the faucets until I smell bleach, let it set over-night and drain the next day. Then run fresh-water though all the spigots until the bleach odor is gone. It's simple and less messy than some of the other methods I've tried.
