Rear ladder top section

Had a good/ bad experience last night.  Heard and felt a thud against our coach while in a campground- went outside and found a large tree limb had broken off and hit us.  The good news is no one was hurt and the damage seems minor.  It looks like the top part of our rear ladder has the bottom rung busted out and the side is bent somewhat.  That seems to be the extent of the damage.

Does anyone know where I can get either just some rungs (steps) or a used top half ladder for a 2001 U270?

Thanks,
Ted

Depending on how bad the damage is it can be fixed. I took mine apart when I bought it and rebuit it as the owner had backed into something and bent it and cracked the tubing. 4 yrs later it was still as good and strong. Post some pictures and I will look at them and let you know what I think.

I would sure give James a call at xtreme Graphics: 936-560-5888. They probably have one left over.

Same thing with Justin at FOT. He runs their paint shop. If he offers to call you back, don't count on it. You will probaly have to call him several times.

James has quite a few outside in back of the shop.  Give him a call if you live close by. The cost of fuel might make it more cost effective to buy on-line, however.

Don't wait too long - that aluminum goes to the scrapper pretty quick!

We were at Xtreme Paint & Graphics a few weeks ago. They rebuilt some parts on our ladder while we were there. I saw several ladders hanging on the wall of the shop where we spent a few days. I expect they would be for sale.
