Keyfob and lock control location, late 90's

Quote
I am sure there are previous threads relating to the keyless entry but if anyone can tell me where the brain or receiver for the keyless entry is located. We don't have the key fobs but the switch on the control panel at the drivers seat works the locks including the storage bays. I am hoping to get an after market key fob and program it. I have done the same for cars and aftermarket alarms.

The "brains" are located behind the panel in front of the passenger seat under the dash. Pull out at the bottom and slide down.

You should still be able to get a new fob from the factory and program it to work.

Here are the instructions for reprogramming:

I just realized that the attachment with the info on programming the key fob was truncated so I attached a new word document and deleted the old one in case it is of use to someone in the future.

I got my fob from the factory.

I opened the fob case and found the following part number on the inside:  302-7097-002. I don't know if that will be of any help though.
