wiper blades

I needed new wiper blades so I checked with FT for the part # (sc14819) with a price of $150/2 + shipping.  I was told these were obsolete and the had only 10 left (so get yours now).  Checked with NAPA, nothing close,  went to carquest and found "exact fit wiper blades" which were real close for $32.  I had to remove the "J" snap and put in a small shim as they were @ 1/16th to narrow, but it works just fine thank you and I saved $135  for a small amt. of work.  These blades will work on build #s below 5235 or thereabouts as the assembly was changed then.  they have @ 5 different blade Assembly's over the years so check that also.    Norm

We did refills from O'Reilly's last year and have been pleased with the results. Our hardware was still good, but the rubber was coming apart.

I took a blade in and the guy at the store help me find appropriate refills that work well. It was $8 for the set.

I got a set of Rain x that fit just fine, $18 for the set, not just a refill.

I had asked the outfit where we had some work done last summer to replace the wiper blades while they were doing some other work as I had never found similar blades to what was on the rig... and when I got the rig back they had put some typical looking blades on... and I never thought about that... but they seem to work just fine... I was surprised to see what they did... but I'm OK with it now...
