Re: Cole Hersee 24124 replacement

Followed your suggestion with solenoid Cole Hersee 24213. Was replacing what appeared to be long used boost solenoid. Now with the new solenoid in place all of the measurements appear to be as they should except the charge from the solenoid to the engine battery is not increased to the higher voltage incoming charge from the house battery/inverter-converter.
The old solenoid was two large lugs and one small (so only connect was wire coming from front boost switch). The new solenoid is two of each. The ohm meter/continuity indicated an incomplete circuit from either small lug to the case. It does indicate continuity between the two small terminals. To function properly it appears there needs to be a ground to the second small lug to complete the circuit to actuate the solenoid??
Does this sound like the answer?
