Has anyone seen or had experience with Summit armor plates for the bottom portion of the coach?  We were at the Tampa RV show this past weekend and was surprised to see that you could apply stainless steal plates to the lower part of the coach to give it the look of a bus or Prevost.  The overall weight addition is around 150 lbs (per the sales person) and it protects the lower area from scratches, rocks etc.  The cost was dependant on the size plates but it was not crazy expensive.  It applies with a special adhesive.  Just wondering if anyone has heard about it and what their experiences are with it.  I have always liked the metal look but not sure it would look good on our coach.  One of the new Foretravels at the show had it and it looked pretty sharp.

  Ordered the stainless accents for the louvers on the sides of the rear quarter panels and the stainless- looking wheel well edges, which were actually plastic, but also attached with commercial grade tape and screwed down at the ends to make certain the ends don't start lifting off with time and repeated exposure to moisture. It was then delivered and attached to my coach at the last FMCA rally in Mad. Wis. Very satisfied. Did not think the Entire bottom edging would stand out too well because the color of the bottom was off-white. Looks better with darker color background. Just my opinion.

I think Ed Schriendorfer used this on his coaches. I thought it looked very nice.
