interior walnut paneling source??

   Looking to replace a section of moisture damaged paneling under  front passenger window.    Looks to be a fairly straight forward repair.  But have not been able to locate matching paneling.   
    Suggestions welcomed.

MOT is doing some paneling with walnut and are working with one customer to perhaps do a new wall.  I have just had a small table top built by them, even using dowel pins as in a dining table to fit larger pieces together.  But the point is, they must have a supply.....perhaps they would sell you some or give me the name of their supplier.  You can call them or I will drop by and ask if you want (reply back if you want me to go by, I am out there almost daily watching progress on our coach).  Mike

Thank you for the offer.      If you can snoop around the shop there, would love to have a brand name if your already there. 

 Have found a few lighter shades that might stain closer.

  I think your in North Carolina. In the Charlotte area there is a distributor of wood products called A & M Supply. The A & M in my area has quarter inch walnut sheet products. They are on the net. They are also in eastern Tennessee, if that's closer. Give them a call. They may know someone closer.

David, I had to replace some water damaged paneling in my 95.
Be aware that the paneling is glued to a substrate of fibreglass and it don't want to move,
I broke out the bad paneling after scoring it with a knife and then had to scrape off remaining parts that stuck, not an easy job.
I bought matching paneling from FT. They stock it.

What you want to do is look in the yellow pages for hardwood lumber.  Most hardwood lumber companies will also sell a variety of plywood that has a furniture grade wood on one or two sides.  Small towns may not have a hardwood lumber company.  The problem with shipping  is the size as it usually sold in a 4' x 8' sheet.  You might be able to buy a half sheet.

I found some paneling that looked pretty close to the walnut plywood in our coach at a kitchen cabinet store in Las Cruces.  They often have this stuff since cabinets are damaged in shipping and they have to repair them.  This is not unique to Las Cruces....  any cabinet shop might have some that is close.

Good evening David.....I went to MOT and explained the issue.  I told them that while there are sources of walnut panel (Google) I thought those were not what we needed in the MH for repair, that the MH panel looks thinner.  Allen at MOT told me that they get theirs from FOT and that you could too, they stock the proper thickness, color for stain, etc.  The FOT phone number is 800-955-6228 and ask for Parts Service folks.  If that does not work, you can send me a private email and I will try a more personal route.  I think the helpful comment about being careful of the substrate is important.  I bet you as I appreciate any cautionary guidance I can get.  AGain, will try further to help if you have specific question I can run down here in Nac for you.  Mike

  Thank you for responding, Will make a few phone calls tomorrow to track down these options....  Mike the FOT number is not a working number? 

    Have located A&M supply close by in Charlotte, But don't have pictures of their product..    Shipping the known correct peice from Foretravel direct may save some hassles...

  Thank you for your advice about paneling.....    Have called Foretravels "parts department" twice today to order some paneling. 
  Is there a secret password to get thru?  Left 2 messages.    It was friday, I guess, we'll try back on monday.  Could be a vacations...

David, Try calling the FT 800 number but don't use the menu.  Dial ZERO and let operator connect you to any other extension.  Don't know why but it works for me most of the time.

Took a while for my message to be retrieved "1 day", but once call was returned, Bam as Emeril would say.

Kudos to Josh, Joe, Mike and Mark.  Great service, patience, and results in the end.    Panel cut to size, and shipped.

Old "10 year old" recall researched to verify proper inspection.  Happy customer.

 To follow up on original post,
 Removed old damaged paneling ...that is a B&^%$#&^h to scrap off, that is some tough glue.      -  Paneling arrived as promised from FOT, measured, cut out template, trial fitment, trimed out new walnut paneling, reassembled....looking good.

    Side note,  Noticed side marker wiring exits thru floor under magazine rack, had lost sealing properties of rubber boot/weatherstripping.    Wood was damp around this penetration.    Light was visible from inside, but difficult to see fault from underneath...another project.

David, refresh my memory if you want me to help.  I can stop by MOT tomorrow and ask David Whitehead how to remove the TV if that is what you need.  I guess we talking the front TV?  I took one out of a Super C one time, and put in an LED. A fun project but involved.  I think then I could follow what David tells me.  But is that what you need or you think getting there on your own?  And what model coach you have, size/brand TV (I guess it original?)  Some of these you access from behind, getting around by the windshield.  Let me know if want that help.  Mike

HI Mike,

Found that the TV has to be raised up slightly to clear two screw heads in the floor of box that keep tv from sliding around, along with wooden wedges on top.......    Wanting a little bigger screen, finding several options on here from other members that have mounted flat screens.  With my 2000 320-GV, the tv sits over the passenger seat in a boxed area.  too wide a flat screen will take out a noggin or two over time.
