Thermometer

We have the outside temp readout on our dash. Anyone know where the thermometer is located? Thanks.

Hopefully outside.  :)

PO installed one, and I put in new batteries and reset the time, and now have time, temp and humidity.  I found the pickup lead wire attached behind my grill, getting moving air going down the road.

jor,  My Temp sensor is located in the right front in front of passenger area, or as your looking at generator, it is to the left in the corne (I think, or could be on other side).  When runing the generator, the temp read out goes up a bit, when you shut genset down it cools down.  I have the 01 320 coach.

Sue and I were wandering around the RV section at our local Wally World last month and bought a $9 "indoor/outdoor" thermometer. I plan to install the "outdoor" sensor under the front hood on the passenger side but for the time being I just threw it into the plastic container for the tire chains in the basement. Interesting thing is that the basement is staying around 40F even in temps down into the mid 20s with both furnaces set to below 50F inside the rig.

So, at least in my case, the heated basement compartments are doing just what they are supposed to. Nice to know.

I don't know where an OEM thermometer sensor would be placed. Our coach came with an aftermarket thermometer. The sensor for the outdoor temperature is mounted in an exposed area underneath the coach near the entry step.

We travel in cold weather. We have concerns about freezing temperatures in the bays. I have put La Crosse remote thermometers in the the service entrance bay, the water pump bay, and the main storage bay. A portable unit that sits on the front console shows the temperatures in the bays. The thermometers guide us in adjusting the thermostat and vents for the furnace that supplies heat to the basement.

Location is important. I have found significant temperature differentials between the tops of the bays and the bottoms of the bays. Outside sensors should be away from the generator exhaust, headlights, or other sources of heat.
