Slide question

Does anyone know if the slide in a 1998 to 2002 Foretravel is longer in a 40' than a 36' ?
Thanks

On the diagram I have they measure out the same width and length and appear to have the same arrangement re:sofa/bed and dinning table in the 36', 40' and 42'. Seems reasonable to have one slideout to fit all.

Tom,

I will concur with sam7's answer.  When I purchased my "former" 02 40' coach back in February `07, the subject came up in a discussion with James Triana (Foretravel Tech Guru) and he told us that the dimensions of those slides were all the same.  It had something to do with weight displacement and underbody design.  Even though coaches with tag axles were supposed to add more weight capacity, it didn't change the fact of the measurements of the slides.  As I recall from that conversation, tag axles added one or two bedroom slides and larger holding & fuel tanks (a few other added options as well).
