1982 BlueBird Help

Yes, Im finishing my dads BlueBird Coach, He past away in December. I need to know There is two single battery boxes and no battery, each box has a pos, and a neg top post terminals, will two Truck 12 volt battery do the job. It a cat diesel motor.. Please if you know the heavy duty truck batterys work please let me know Thanks...

That old it likely a 3208 or smaller. Will do the job.
