Manual says 11' 6.5"

My coach is not available so I need to ask...  On the capacity page of my manual it lists the OAH (Over - All Height) as 11' 6.5".

1st question - Does anyone know if this measurement is at travel mode height?

My in-motion dish is 4" higher than the ACs so That would  leave me with a 1.5" clearance getting into a storage location with a 12 foot door.  I want to make sure I can make it in.

2nd question - If I dump the air and back in at less that 5 mph how much will the coach lower from travel mode?

I'm not the authority, but I would think the travel ride height is used to measure the overall height.  Then, you can manually lower the coach to roll it backward (or forward), just remember that your tires may be rubbing against the coach floor if you lower the air bags too much.

You should always measure your own coach.  The OAH should be just that, whether it's the A/C's, dish, or rear ladder.  Remember, 12' doors can be less depending on the adjustment of the door.

Ok - point well taken about individual heights and I will be measuring as soon as possible.

But,  can anyone provide insight to question #2?
If I dump the air and back in at less that 5 mph how much will the coach lower from travel mode?

I realize that that may vary from coach to coach as well but how about an educated guess someone...

Mark if I remember correctly, the air bag suspension travel from ride height is 4 inches up and 3 inches down.  But remember that at 3 inches down the tires will rub against the coach floor.

Mark,
Keep in mind after you get it through the 12 foot door and store it for like a week or more, you will need to remember that the door is only 12 ft on the way out or Mary won't be happy about not getting Sat. TV any longer!

Peter - thanks for the reminder/estimate and I'll check again, but the last time I dumped all the air I looked and had about an inch of clearance over every tire.

txforetravel - Ah yes - in my never ending hast to hit the road a little patience will go along way towards a happy wi...er, trip!  Thanks!

Not on mine.  If I dump the air bags all the way the tires just barely rub against the coach floor.
