Midland Grau air dryer parts

I am looking to get the replacement parts ie, dessicant,filter and lower parts for the dryer and was wondering where you all get yours from. Amazon or?
I guess the kitDQ6036 and DQ 6020 are what I need to do it all. Any comments

Check out this option to use a rebuilt unit like we did last year.

I bought a brand new Midland on Ebay for $110 delivered. Less than a rebuild kit.

John, The Dryer rebuild is not a tough job, worst part is getting it off the coach to work on it on a bench.  Be careful when removing the snap ring, you can spend a lot of time hunting for it when it flies.  Of course of you are smart you will find a new snap ring in the rebuild kit and not spend time looking for the old one. :)

Thanks Barry (I should have found it had I dug around). I wish our Napa etc prices were like in the US. I bet if I call them here that $234 translates into $350.
Gary-- I am thinking of doing it myself as it sure looks easy, but was wondering what Barry paid for the reman' unit. I had mine done at FT in Nov 2010 as it was leaking while they were doing other things and decided to have it serviced while there, so I guess it is getting time to at least check out the desiccant and filter at least. I do not see any moisture in air from drain so it must be working ok, but the comments seem to say change at least them every year or so.

Don't get too excited about filter replacement. Remember, these dryers were invented for the trucking industry which runs their trucks 125,000 miles per year minimum.

FT recommends 18 months.
