Unusual tools I have made use of this week
The first tool (see pictures) is an Xacto knife with a router blade that I used to remove the remains of the expanded foam at the rear of the coach so that I could put in new insulation. The serrated knives were used to cut the composite foam insulation and to remove some of the expanded foam. The SoniCrafter was also used to remove large chunks of the foam and to cut out a section of wood behind the louvered door for the engine air filter. The WeekEnd Pro was used to put a screw and washer into the insulation over the tail light (it was too tight for anything else I had). The needle scaler and belt filer were used to remove the rust on the steel around the louver door. The needle scaler was also used to remove rust in the corners of the generator support. The auto body saw was used to remove a chunk of wood that I could not get out with the SoniCrafter. I've run out of attachments but the final item is a Bosch laser distance measurer that computed the area of insulation I need for the generator compartment.
