U320 questions

A nube here.  How many miles should one expect from a 2003 U320 before some major engine repairs?  WE are considering the coach that has 67K and claims to have all synthetic oil changes in the genset and motor.  Also are there any special considerations to take in with this coach.  Thanks in advance, David

Retired Chief, not to worry you will wear out before the motor transmission and drive axle will, as long as you do the proper service on it.

Prolonged storage is the only thing that can appreciably shorten the lives of these otherwise very durable drive trains if recommended service is completed.  Synthetic lubricants are fine so long as they are not used to extend change intervals without analysis.

I bought an 2000 U320 with 117K miles on it and didn't give it a second thought.  Fear not :)
