sewer hose connection

I bought a Rhino sewer hose for my 95 Foretravel. It appears to be too small on the connections end to the drain valve.
Is there a special connection end or size?
I didn't see any options when shopping for the hose as far as end size or type for the connection to the waste pipe.

You need a Thetford to Valterra adapter.

The Valterra/standard sewer adaptor leaked when I first bought my 1996 U320.
More connections means more possible leaks.
Rather than replacing the adaptor, I removed the Valterra fitting and glued on a standard fitting.

Thanks for the advice.

I will order the adapter and see how it works, If I need to I will glue on the Thetford fitting from my old sewer hose.

IF, and I do mean if, you go to replace the hose onto the fitting it can be a real struggle. When we had our class C I bought a hose spreader at a Camping World for around $6. I used it once on our C but have helped three other RVers put new hose on their connectors.
First put the end of the new hose in boiling water, then put spreader into hose end, opened spreader to stretch hose, then put end connector into hose. We have sat and watched others attempt to get hose on until we couldn't take it any longer so went over to provide assistance. Made new friends with that spreader!!

X-2 and I'm still using the Rhinoflex I used with my old SOB coach.

The standard RV sewer connectors are readily available at ACE hardware, Home Depot, or even Walmart. You must determine which pipe interface you need, male or female by looking at your current sewer connector.
I needed a female pipe end which was slide over the end of the pipe left when I cut the old adaptor off (with a couple inches of pipe inside).
The sewer connector on your coach will be the male end with the female sewer end on the hose. Back in the 1980's this was reversed with male on the end of the hose which had more tendancy to leak.
