How do I remove this bulb?

Our left front corner turn signal is not working. Removing the socket containing the bulb was easy. But I can't get the little bulb out of the socket. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions? I guess it twists or may push and twist; I just can't get it to move and don't want it to break in my hands.
Can I just go ahead and break it and then try to remove it with needle nose pliers?
What is the identification of this bulb?

Thanks, Dick

Hello group, just joined but I'm an ASE Certified mechanic and am very familiar with many things mechanical.  This is a bayonet bulb that just pulls out and pushes in.  The holder is a twist in to the light assembly.

Oh Man! He finally got the Aqua-Hot fixed and now he has to buy a new coach?! Maybe a headlight conversion could take care of the issue.

Looks like the same bulb as our map light:

1. Grip bulb with pliers and pull
2. Squeeze until bulb breaks
2.5 Vacuum up broken glass pieces
3. Remove pieces from socket with small screwdriver
4. Vacuum up more broken glass pieces
4.5 Where are my $#@# eyeglasses?
5. Remove glass shard from knee
6.  Go look for cool drink in fridge

Don't have a unit yet, but we're looking.  I really like the quality I see in these units.  I've been looking at the Grand Villa's of the late 80's to mid 90's (that's about all my wallet will allow).  Hoping to find a nice one but I'm not afraid to buy one that needs work.

Welcome aboard, Skipper. We're looking at the mid 90's, too. Lots of good advice here. There is an '83 for sale near me that has the DD fuel sipper engine in it. Most people are advising to stay away from that engine. If you aren't afraid of that engine, and $9000 for the coach doesn't scare you, I could arrange to go look at it and take some pictures. Bear in mind that I'm still looking, and don't really know what I'm doing, but I can accurately report on what I see, hear, and smell.

Ok, lots of good ideas here. :D My fingers are bloody, but the bulb has been replaced!
John, the idea of buying a new coach is a heck of a motivator.
Rubber tape around the bulb gave me enough grip to pull it straight out.
Thanks all.
BTW, James T told me that is a #194 bulb and that's what I used.
