Replacement is one option. Resurfacing is another. Resurfaced the exhaust manifold on mine 10 years/100,000 miles ago and it is perfect. One that has undergone the heat/cool cycles and then is cut perfectly is better than a new one (unless the design has improved). Just took it to a shop that resurfaced manifolds-- $40.
