p. s.  To all of you out there...Please slow down...What's the hurry that a couple hours more will cure?  DO NOT OVERLOAD YOUR AXLES  !!!!!!    Overloading at high speeds just invites trouble where there is really no need.

Sorry for the rant.  I simply care too much for our Foretravelers (and others sharing the road) to have them suffer through tough situations...

I had an almost new set of 6 Michelins on a large Mercedes van when the driver's front exploded at about 65 without any warning. Actually, I thought I heard a funny noise for a couple of seconds before. Wheel on the ground instantly. Have to be pretty quick when it happens. Would be bad in a curve. The other 5 ran out their life without any problem. They replaced it for free.
