Xantrex 2500 Charger/Inverter ?

Removing the LP frig & stove top, then removing the LP tank, will allow installation of an additional pair of (stacked) 8D Gel batteries, bringing total to 5, now I have a total of 1125 AH and the question is:
Will the Xantrex 100 amp charger handle this load due to the length time required to fully recharge this string without an over heating issue ?

Anyone have experience with this sort of setup ?

Just talked to a friend that used to work for Xantrex.
He thinks you will be OK.

< friend who used to work for Xantrex>...hum...what does he say about repairing the 2500 model? There are lots of them out there that seem to go "unrepairable".

Jim. While in CA I bought a NOS Freedom 25 and when my dies I will have one to put in.  Seller had one more at 500 Bucks.

Jim I posted a letter that I got from head guy at Xantrex a couple weeks ago regarding the fact that they seem to be unrepairable, but cannot find were I posted it!!!! He said  that he would talk to the Tech's there and find out and get back to me!!
I had mentioned in my letter about them being installed in thousands of RV's and once they go down people are not using their models as new replacement, and in this price range they should be repairable. Owners are upset about this fact and this could affect them (Xantrex) in the market.

This guy knew how to repair mine in our 36ft 1997 U295

I like the idea, but for simplicity might opt to keep the two burner stove and downsize to a small lp tank (20 lbs or less) and remove the big tank to replace with batteries
