MCD shades

I was thinking about getting the MCD shades, but was told they could not put them in the two small windows located on the ends of the living room slide out.  What did everyone else do to solve this problem?

There's not enough room for the MCD rollers (2" depth minimum) in the slide end windows, unfortunately.

We left our original day/night shades in those windows.  At some point we'll replace them with another day/night in a 3/4" or narrower cellular.

On the subject of stained glass windows Give Suzanne of "Two Hams in a Can" fame a PM as she has used a product that sticks on the windows in their new house.  It mimics stained glass and, in the pictures, look pretty good.

Thanks for all the replies.  We had the windows measured today, and now have to decide whether to proceed.  I am OC enough that not having all the shades matching might really bother me.

We have MCD in the entire coach except for the slide ... and I never really think about it. I am just OC enough to make my husband a bit crazy, but for some reason this glitch doesn't bother me.  You can have custom stained glass panels made to cover the inset windows by a local crafts person or use a temporary peel-n-stick product until you think of a better solution, I guess.  The MCDs are worth it, really.  We had all measurements taken on one visit, came back for just the cockpit shades on another and did the rest of the coach later still.

I can attest that the window film is fantastic!  Just google window film and you'll see lots of options.
