FT Mainers (and those of us "from away")

Michelle

Where in Maine will you be going, we live 8 miles east of Dexter, ME.

Oh now that's funny!  Nice selection of Patty Qua's beans at P&L Market :))

We'll be at Palmyra Golf & RV.  We stayed there 2 months last summer, should be longer this year.

Steve's family has a camp on Long Pond in the Rangeley area so we visit (almost) every year.

Small world!

Is that the place on Rte 2 toward Showhegan that all there is is a sign and you can't see anything from the highway.
BTW P&L is affiliated with IGA now. They have good meat, however that place in Newport, Bears OneStop is even better. They have fantastic NY strips.

That golf rv park is about 30 min from us.

Yup.  Right at the flashing light by the Episcopal church (Lang Hill Rd.) then down about a mile on the right.  It's been in the Cayer family for 3 generations now.  Brian (youngest) runs the golf course.  Rick and Lynda (middle generation) run the campground and used to own a Monaco.  It's not fancy, but a solid park, good utilities, friendly folks, and laid back.  Just our style.  The golf course is very beginner-friendly (thank goodness!), easy to walk, and campers get a discount.

We'll have to check out Bears OneStop for steaks, but to be honest, we mostly eat that good Maine seafood in the summer ^.^d  (and Giffords ice cream ::)  )
