AEC Automatic Transfer Switch

My ATS unit is giving me trouble when plugged into shore power. When i store my coach I plug it into a standard 120vac 15A outlet to keep the batteries charged and the fridge running. The ATS has recently not been switching over to shore power when I plug it in. It works fine on 50A at campgrounds and on the Gen Set. But it gives me an "open neutral error" at my storage spot 120vac outlet. I have tested all the connections with a meter and everything measures good. Has anyone experienced a similar situation that may shed some light? Seems it just doesn't want to pull the shore line contactor in on 120vac but it will on 240vac. It has worked on 120vac in the past.

I have the Automated Engineering Corp. M10040AC and they are no longer in business.

Thanks in advance.

When you say it works perfect on the 50a power it makes me think there is a problem with your 50-15a adapter or the power to the outlet.  When you say all checks out with your meter. 'What kind of meter are you using. If you have a simple vom they are known to  show that you have 110v but if you try to put a load on the outlet and then check the voltage, it will then go to zero. Have you tried plugging say a saw or a drill into the outlet to see if it woks with that?
