Rosen sun visors

All,
I installed the Rosen sun visors in my coach. They really take care of that upper left corner and other goofy angles of the sun when it is blazing. The pass side was also installed in same location on pass side. It beats hanging towels up there to block the sun. Picture provided for others if they need guidance on location. This location takes care of all sun positions and leaves the original visor intact. Many thanks to Dave M.

Rick, Dave M,

Great upgrade for a coach that doesn't have these already.  They look very easy to install and give you that side window sun/UV protection.  My dermatologist told me that one of the most common places for skin cancer in men is on the left side of the face/head caused from the concentration of the sun's rays through the left side window ( I had a dark spot removed from the left side of my scalp).  I don't think my U300 has tinted side windows for the driver and passenger.  Heat and glare also add to eye/driver fatigue. Can you still see your side mirrors easily?

Thanks  for a very important  recommendation.  This one is high on my upgrade list and Karma worthy!

The visors do not interfere with your vision to the mirrors, at least in my coach where I located them. I don't think you could locate them so as to interfere with mirror vision. 3M has a high quality UV blocking film that you can have applied to that side window. I have heard of some dealers applying the clear UV blocking film to the windshield too.

Re- the glare coming in drivers side window, I drive with the shades down part way to help with blocking the sun. Obviously there are times when the sun is just the right height that I cannot cover it with blind or I would loose my vision out to see, but most times it works good. I still think I will look into 3M shade cover on it when in Phx next month.

Just a suggestion which worked for me.  A few years ago,  I rotated the DS mirror from a side view to where I can see it through the left side of the windshield.  Now, whenever the sun begins to melt my left ear, I pull the DS shade down to block.  Took a little getting used to thenew mirror position but would never go back; works great.  Infrequently may find a need to lean around the mirror head to a better view in certain turns usually navigating around parking lots, CG 's. etc., but overall it's well worth it to be able to shade the drivers seat window when heading North on a sunny afternoon.

I installed a pair of Rosen sun visors today purchased from John Duld.  Installation was easy and they do not interfere with the original visors. I Drilled pilot holes and used #8-32x1" flat head machine screws with split lock washers and nuts to attach.  They are very easy to maneuver and can be positioned to compensate for almost any angle needed.  The pics show the normal position and actually give a much larger area of protection than the original shades.  They are also transparent and probably could be used  for strong headlight glare if needed.  I'm a happy camper!

Thanks Rick for the shade upgrade recommendation as I am sure they will be great the first time the sun becomes a glaring problem!

Thanks John for the great deal on the Rosen sun visors.
