Crimp or clamp

What do you use crimp or the clamp rings on your PEX fittings? I like the crimp, but I also have the tool for the clamps, not the one with the handles so I don't use it much.

I believe Steve uses a Hydropex crimp tool, purchased from Pexsupply.com

Works for both the coach and the house.

I use the crimp rings (the one with the "handle") and crimp them with a large pair of end nippers that I have.  If I didn't already have the end nippers, I would probably buy the custom tool for the crimp rings.

I use the Pex ring crimp tool as I use it for residential piping replacement too.
