Air quick disconnect connect to where/what?

Hi Folks-

Was wondering what this air quick disconnect is connected to?  It is located to the top right of the propane tank and the hose goes through the back of the compartment.  Was hoping that it is connected to the  engine compressor to use to air tires and not the aux. comp.  Have attached to a hose and attempted to put air in tire but doesn't have much pressure.  Have not tried to start the engine and try yet.  Have been also following the current thread as to how you guys top off air in tires and see most use an individual compressor.  Have looked in the engine compartment and do not see a quick disconnect for air from the engine compressor.

Thanx....

Scott,

If you can, trace the hose back. There should be a ball valve at the beginning of the hose. There should be a hard (i.e. metal tube) line direct to your engine compressor. Your big engine will have to be on and allow the dash air gauges to reach maximum (~120 psi) pressure. The engine compressor will air your tires up to about 110; after that it gets slow; that's why many have purchased a separate air compressor.

Can be used to provide air to brake system to release parking brakes. I also use it when ever I need a high pressure air supply. Like adding air to tires. The Governor on my engine air is set high 130 low 112.Never a problem to fill tires.Gam

I think ours comes off the wet tank.  I set our governor up to 130 PSI, so it will fill the tires once the engine has run the pressure up, but you have to keep the engine on to top off more than one tire.

Thanks for the quick replies.  I was hoping it was connected to the engine air.  I can't follow the hose 'cause it's buried behind bulkheads.  Will take a look in the engine compartment for a ball valve near the engine air compressor.  I have to locate the engine compressor first.  Thanks again - you guys are great.

Scott,
It actually goes to the rear air tank (Not Wet Tank) in the front of the coach. It comes off the tank between the protection valve and check valve. You can look at the dash rear air gauge to determine if there is enough pressure to air the tire.

This one is my air diagram also.
As far as other diagrams, I have scanned many, many members manuals and diagrams at rallys I have attended. I also have many people sending me copies of older info and manuals. I recently received 2 boxes of info from Gary O. that will keep me busy for some time to come ???

Geeech Barry -

Started the coach this AM and successfully put 100psi of air into my left front tire.  Thanks again for your help.  I wonder what will come next?
