Xterminator

While installing the SeeLevel came across two(2) units labeled "Xterminator",do not seem to have wire attached.
What are they, what are they for?

Good question. I've seen those under the dash, too, and wondered what they were for.

I had hoped to get out to the coach tonight, but just didn't get that far. I'll take a picture or two tomorrow afternoon as soon as I get home from school.

I got a couple of pictures. The first one shows the device clearly, but the wires are hidden under the large bundle of wires. The second one shows only a corner of the device, but you can see the wire(s) coming from the corner. The first picture is of the device on the navigator's side of the dash and the second is of the device in front of the driver.

A Google search shows that to be a car audio noise filter.  About $11 bucks on eBay (the first hit I got ;)  )
