Diagnostic Port

On our 320 (99 with an ISM), the Cummins diagnostic port was hanging down under the dash and easily accessible. Just plugged in the VMSpc cable and we were good to go. On this one (95 with an M11) I could see the ECM on the engine but didn't see the diagnostic port up at the dash. Anyhow, I was crawling around under there today and came across this, right next to the Allison port. It's labeled "Deutsch." I'm thinkin' this is it. Anyone have one that resembles this one? Thanks.

That would be it. On my 95 I have only the old rectangular port. You have to buy the 'no plug' cable...

Thanks, Dave. Wonder why they made it so inaccessible. Anyhow, I think I'll pick up another VMSpc now that I've found the plug.

I am waiting for the apple app.  I have a gen 1 iPad and a three.  One for nav and all stays.

The other for the silverleaf.  And maybe a new rear camera and tank monitors?

Because they never expected, or saw any reason, for owners to access it.  It was designed as a diagnostic tool for technicians.
