*quote from caflashbob
"Foretravel had the ability to reprogram the ecu for the motor.  Might be more power than the normal setup.  Those ran well up hills."

I was reading the data plate on my engine and read a "Foretravel Spec"

Kent Speers remarked that Silverleaf said something about a update for the DDEC. He queried Foretravel about it and was told , I believe, "never gonna happen"

How about a check of data plates, for "FORETRAVEL SPEC"

While we are at it a check of a check for a dash switch to over ride the thermal switch for engine cooling fans. And a check of low and high fan speed.

My fuel MPG went down on a recent trip and I found that the controlling valve had failed in the Hi-speed position.

Bill,

I have an overide switch to prevent engine shutdown in an emergency situation.  How do you check for low and high fan speed?  Where is the controlling valve for the high speed position that failed on yours? How much mpg did you lose?

Thanks Jerry
