Water intrusion, generator box

Anyone having the problem of water retention and rust inside the base of the generator box (left of the motor)?  Cannot determine where the water is coming from, but it stays very wet and as a result has caused extreme rust and deterioration of the sound deadening material.

Me too - it was so bad I replaced the gen box. Unfortunately it was like that when I bought the coach so I don't know where the water was coming from - are there drain holes in the bottom that might be clogged? I'm guessing driving in the rain with no water drains might be a cause. Might be worth a call to Powertech as it looks like you may be a candidate for a new gen box. I can recommend someone in central FL for the install if that is of any help.

Make sure that the dash A/C condensate drain is long enough and routed such that condensate drips behind and below the generator.

Not sure where the condensate drain is located.  When I turn on the roof a/c the water drains from beneath the unit over the passenger side roof down to the ground.  Is there supposed to be a drain line connected to that thing?

The dash A/C drain is below the A/C. heater box on the passenger's side, front of the coach.

Just a thought...if the A/c cover has cracks, rain will drip from the ceiling Vent. Sealing the cracks stopped my leaks..

Oops sorry Brett my reply addressed the roof a/c and not the dash condensation outlet as you suggested.  I don't recall seeing any tubes in that area while working under the generator.  However,  I will search carefully for that tube and hope it is the culprit.  It just occurred to me that when I had the headlight conversion done by Xtreme, the crew that worked under the front end in that area may have tucked it out of the way while working there and forgot to route it back to its original position.
