Continuing the year descent, welcome from a 2002 U270 3610 owner!  Lemme tell you how to add a second water switch in the kitchen...not sure if they changed that between 2002 and 2004, but it was my crowning accomplishment of the summer! LOL

I had a 99 270 and loved it but it was only 34 foot.  Sometimes I think that one has more storage than my 42 foot does.

Plan to stay at campFT for a while and exercise everything.  Run everything off of the generator, disconnected from shore power, run water pump and faucets, flush the toilet. Run A/C's off Gennerator.  Turn gennerator off, and run what is supposed to be run off the inverter.
Check and recheck the tank monitors. Empty the tanks, run the slide(s) in and out, level the coach.  run all awnings out and in.

Then run the coach around the loop a number of times.  Just use it like you would every day camping to test everything.

Oh, and you will get about 150 miles from nac and find that there is a button that you don't know what it does.  Just post on here!  Someone will surely know.

Enjoy your new FT, they are awesome machines!

Larry & Terry,
Welcome to the Foretravel family and Foreforums.  I know you will enjoy the Foretravel ownership experience.  All I can add is to video tape the walk-thru of the coach features with the person from Foretravel who will be explaining all the features and their operation.  Then review this tape at night in the coach.  Trust me, you can only retain about 50% of all the details being thrown at you that day.  Also ask lots of questions.

We have the 400 hp in our 40 ft.  You will have lots of power in a 36.  Had a 99 U270 before the 02 295 we have now.  Great coach.  The slide will give you lots of room.  Wise choice.  Be at FOT Sunday night may see you there.  DAN
