Roof coating question

About to have the roof coated at FOT in a few days.  For those who have had this done - did it change the path of the AC evaporation runoff?

Does you current AC have the tubes to capture the AC water and run it down the back of the coach?  Ours does not and the path of water is basically the same.

You will love it.  Just use a soft brush on the roof if you have any dirt that does not hose off.  The best part, no white stuff running down the sides of the coach when it rains!

No tubes Tom.  I just don't have an idea of the texture of the coating and if it makes a difference.  Given the color of our coach I will be very happy  that the white streaks will be minimized...

Don't think it changed the path.  No more streaks.  Easy to clean.

To my knowledge they don't have an additive to insulate the roof in their coating but the white pigment itself will reflect radiant heat to a certain extent. The main benefit is that the roof gel coat chalking causes roof runoff. The paint stops the chalking and it should end. Much or our coach wall paint is black so we used to get white stripes down the roof edge all of the time. Since the roof was painted, it looks great.

From James Stallings:
The product is called ''Shark Grip "it is simply ground up Glass. H&C Concrete - Products - H&C® SharkGrip™ Slip Resistant Additive  The product must go in the paint to be shot, not sprinkled on top.
If done correctly, it is fine enough to not damage wash clothes. Most harware stores down here handle it.
