Compressor "rattle" in dometic rm7832

Been using the ice maker in our coach.  Works great.  white ice cubes not clear?  Remember reading about a "fan?" Rattle connected with the compressor?  Anyone remember or what it is and is it fixable.

The refer works well at the #4 setting it is at almost zero in the freezer with or without the compressor and 37 in the refer on a/c or gas.

Searched as I remember several fixers but the search did not show up anything....

I had a rattle in my ice maker - it was a loose fan on the dedicated ice maker compressor. Shut if off. three months later put in residential.

How to fix the fan is what I need.  Thanks

not sure - RV repair guy said only way to fix was new compressor - a handy guy might take it out and figure out how to get it to stay on the shaft...

Bob,
The ice maker fan bearing was dry and noisy on mine, I was able to get a few drops of oil on the fan shaft at the bearing from the outside refrigerator access panel. It was OK after that.

Great.  What, if anything, needed to be moved to get access?

Bob,
The ice maker compressor, fan and condenser were to the right side looking in the opening behind the fridge.
Can't remember for sure but may have to remove a shroud to gain access to the fan(looking down from above the fan).
You may have to drip the oil on from above. Just get two or three drops on the shaft at the motor bearing .

Bob,

If you need to oil something that's hard to reach just bend a wire coat hanger so it reaches then drip the oil down the wire.

Old trick was to do a "Dutchman's pin". Why it was called that I don't know, but here goes: Drill and tap a small hole on the OD/ID of the two parts (shaft OD and fan ID) when the parts are assembled. Then using blue Loctite or regular household silicone seal run a set screw into the tapped hole. The fan cannot slip or move out of position unless the screw is removed.
