Re: camping guides Reply #3 – August 21, 2013, 10:26:09 pm Just checked it out and it looks good. A suggestion for trip planning in the Southwest would be to get the AAA Indian Country Map (free AAA members) along with Churches Southwest Camping Destinations. The have suggested routes plus campground locations, facilities, reviews. The campgrounds may also be reviewed at RV Park Reviews. These plus the Free Campground Net site are sure to cover most all bases. The Church's also have books for the Northwest, Mexico, Baja, Europe. They are well worth the price. Have lat/long for the campgrounds too. Moon has RV campground books also with lots of detail/history but I pull out Church first.AAA map: Map: AAA Guide To Indian Country: Automobile Club of Southern California:Church's Southwest Camping Destinations: Southwest Camping Destinations: RV and Car Camping Destinations in Arizona, NewRV Park Reviews: Reviews of RV Parks and Campgrounds - RV Park ReviewsFree campsites: Map of Free Camping Locations | Find a Free Campsite Near You,%20-110.511474609375%29Benchmark has the best atlas for dry camping. They have two sections, one with ownership with BLM land clearly shown. BLM has several different types of camping so best to go to the BLM site for the state you are in.
