HWH Auto Leveling Quit

I checked the fluid level in the HWH tank (up front under the coach) by using a cable tie for a dipstick. Low. I added almost a quart of Dextron III which brought the fluid level up to almost the fill plug.  We went and filled up with diesel fuel and propane, came home, put the coach up on the ramps. Then used the selector switch that drops the jacks vertical. Then, after positioning the pads under the jacks I actuated the Autolevel switch. Nothing! I was able to level the coach by selectively actuating each jack switch.

What happened? All I did was add fluid! Before I added the fluid the Autoleveling feature worked fine. The 5A fuse on the HWH panel is still good.

Sounds like we have the same HWH leveling sys.  Do you have the manual for yours?  I have the manual and can look up a few things if you don't have access to one.  It doesn't seem logical that just adding fluid would cause a problem, but there are other components in there where the fill plug is and may be worth a look anyway to see if a valve got tweeked somehow.  Have a great day  ----  Fritz

Yesw, Fritz, I do have the manual for my HWH system. The only thing near the fill plug is above it, and that is the AC "radiator" that made it a real pain to fill the tank. I ended up using a plastic bottle with the nozzle cap. I put a clear hose on the cap so I could hold the bottle up behind the AC and could squeeze the fluid out.

When you try to auto level, do you get a light to come on?  As I recall, the auto leveling red light comes on when you go to the auto level position.  You may have to get as much data as possible and call the HWH tech.  Sounds like a possessor problem.  Have a great day  ----  Fritz
