Grand Cherokee 4x4 Question?

Looking at a 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 to use for our toad. I would like to determine if it is 4 down towable before I make the drive to look at it. The owner said it has a small neutral button on the round 4wd selector switch on the console. Hopefully, it puts the transfer case in neutral. Would appreciate any feedback.
thanks,

yes, if it's a 4x4 with the quadra trac drive train, it can be towned all four down.  Have the owner open the manual to "Recreational towing" and there will be steps on how to tow it.

You basically put the drive train into "neutral" and transmission selector in Park and you are ready to tow.

Snip: yes, if it's a 4x4 with the quadra trac drive train, it can be towned all four down.

If it's a QuadraTrac "II" with neutral on the transfer case it can be towed four-down. I've been shopping Cherokees as-well and have found many (most?) of the Larados were QuadraTrac "I" and had no low-range, nor neutral selection.
