Water pump problems.

Middle of the night after using the bathroom I notice the coach water pump sounds funny and won't shut off.

What the heck.  Turn it off until the morning.  Still the same.

Duh.  You guessed it.  Dry camped.  Second trip.

Out of water.....

Audit flashing empty on the monitor.

Works better with a filled tank.

Had to laugh at myself

I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached, too.  You need an audible alarm to tell you that the tank needs filling.

I wonder how long it took to see the humor in that situation. It would probably have taken me a while and am sure my wife would keep reminding me also.

10 seconds this morning.  Especially as I was mentally going through the fix steps about 4am.

First thing was to tell DW of my findings.  So I got to wash the last dishes myself.
