What in the world is going on here!?!?! (AquaHot Drain?)

We've been in St. Louis for a little over a week now.  While we have been toasty warm inside the motorhome, it's been pretty cold outside (7 degrees F).

A couple of days ago we had quite a surprise when we noticed a block of ice growing under the motorhome.  After some frantic page turning in the manual, it seems that one of the AquaHot drain valves wasn't all the way closed.

Can anyone tell me what each of those lines does?  The labels seem to have gotten wet at some point.

Those are the low point drains for the hot and cold lines to the aqua hot
