Fog Lights not Working

Today we were testing all the outside lights and only the fog lights did not come on.  Haven't tried them before this.  The manual says they work off the auxiliary switch. But when we flipped that switch, only the light over the door came on. We could hear a clicking sound, but the fog lights stayed off.  Has anyone else experienced this?  If so, how did you fix it?  We have a '97 u320.  Thanks, in advance...

Try it with the headlights on.

My recollection is that our fog lights only worked with the headlights on before I "adjusted" the wiring. I changed ours to be on any time both the ignition switch and the "Auxiliary Lights" switch are on. I normally leave the auxiliary lights on in order to be a bit more visible without running the headlights.

The ignition key also has to be in the on position.

They are supposed to work only when the low beams are on.
