Fuel filter/screen

If I leave the coach with the nose up too long this sight glass with the screen in it fills up with diesel and starts to leak. Is there a crack or bad o-ring on the sight glass or is this concern for a bigger issue?
I don't see a crack but will  need to remove it to check it 100%
I'm going to go ahead and change the fuel filter, but is there a trick to removing that sight glass with out removing this whole setup? Doesn't look easy.

One more...if operating correctly, how much diesel should be in the sight glass when not running?

More critically for your engine is that with the engine running, it will suck AIR in the same way that fuel is leaking out.

Yes, plenty of posts on both resealing and the strong recommendation is to replace it with the new/superseded Racor replacement (which is what I would recommend).

As I have written in other threads I was never able to keep my Winn filter system from allowing air infiltration (which resulted in engine shutdown) at temperatures much below 40F. The Parker Racor 790R30 system was a straightforward upgrade and eliminated the issue.

You need to loosen the thumb screw on the top of the site glass and then the thing that the fuel
line elbow is in needs to be lifted up. You might have to remove the fuel line to get enough
lift to get it apart.

Since I have the FS19592 filter, does that mean the PO already installed the WINN Retro fit 12963 kit?

After catching up on some old posts about this I'm going to start by replacing the 300200 sight glass that comes with the 2 new O-rings, order the other 2 O-rings and see if that fixes my air leak. If I'm not one of the lucky ones, then I'll dig into the process of installing the Racor 790R30.
