Sink, Solid Surface Counter and an Induction Stove.

Well, I get to see David F again soon. We will be having a stainless sink and new counter top and new counter top and an induction oven put in. Also, the backsplash behind the stove will be updated as well.  This means we are close to done with the upgrades.  David will pull the propane out completely then and I will have an all electric coach.  One more think to do in the closet when I plan it out and we are done.  So, I guess it is time to shop for a new coach one day soon..... Ha, first I have to enjoy the upgrades a while.  I will post pictures as the upgrade happens.

Bob the good thing about not liking the insides of the new coach's is that I would have to order and build one.  That requires much more effort and isnot a spur of the minute deal.

Since the LP Tank is gone, perfect spot for an extra 8D Gel Cell, when I did mine, the improvement was vast.  Changed the setting to 800 Am Hr on Xantrex. Biggie upgrade for me.

Well the EPA struck and Foretravel had to stop making counter tops themselves.  So they out source it.  Well, one of mine came in from Houston with the hole for the sink in the wrong place. So we will have to wait till next week to get it back.

Counter top and sink are in. Faucet plumbed and we have water.  Purifier in and working and so is the soap dispenser. The edge pieces are on too. Looks great.  Will try to get some pics up soon.

Will finish up tomorrow.  Just grouted today and we seal tomorrow. The guy who did the backsplash had a baby on Tuesday a week ago and then had to rush it to LSU. Today was his first day back. He will finish us up by mid morning.

I will add others as soon as it is finished.  Added a new microwave, a 16 gauge stainless sink, an induction stove in the light colored drawer and countertop and backsplash.

Well when we got home we got two single burner induction stoves. We are using one in the house.  It is programmable too.  Can use it like a crock pot or a burner. If you spill stuff it does not cook on either.  The 110 volt single works well and the drawer to store it will hold it plus a couple pans.  Very happy with the change.  We never used both burners as we did not want to damage the cover with heat.  Seen that brown mark on many coaches.

Very creative solution!  Given how close together the burners are on a 2-burner Gaggenau, 2 individual units lets you space them as needed.  Been thinking about getting one for the coach so we have a third burner when needed.  Which brand did you get?  I've used a Vollrath Mirage Pro in the past but they're out of the budget.

Michelle, we got 2 Precision Nuwave 2 induction programable units. They work very well and we have one it he house and love it.  It works better and faster than the propane stove and it is 110 and you can have two or three or as many as you want to carry. We think for most trips one will be enough but if it is thanksgiving we can take all 4.

Nancy got a Nu Wave programmable induction unit for Christmas and she loves it. It does cook faster than the 2 burner gas stove in the coach and that way she has 3 burners as she loves to cook.
