Remote Battery Jumper Terminals

Does anyone know where the remote battery jumper terminals are on a 2003 40' U320? Is there a way to jump the generator if needed?

We are very happy with the 2003 Foretravel that we bought last August. Thank you to all on the list for your answers, comments, etc.

Jump to the house batteries. Let the donor car run for a few minutes.

JPM to the house batteries is good advice.  When I first got my coach I would store it for the winter. It was a 99 and it had the house batteries in it. Well they got old and low so the boost switch would start the generator. And let that run and charge up both banks.

I have seen some Foretravel models with start batteries tucked up next to engine, in a very hard to reach location. And some have house batteries tucked away in closed bay (hot) compartment, almost impossible to reach. I have seen some later models with jumper connection at rear of coach, but don't know if all coaches with hard to reach battery locations have jumper posts.

Some of us with coaches that have all our batteries easily reachable, don't know how much of a problem it is for some of our brothers & sisters.

Long jump on my coach from the house to engine batteries.  Maybe easier to jump at the isolator?  Not sure how much load the system can take there?

Using your toad to jump to the house batts works well, boost switch also unless worried about depleting the engine batts if they were also low. Could always start the coach engine. After connecting the jumper cables or starting coach engine, good to wait 5 or 10 minutes for voltages to come up if house batts dead. Smart idea to plan ahead with all possibilities just in case.

At home, I keep the coach plugged it and run a small wire from the left B12 (house) on the buss to the right cable lug B15 (or 430) (engine) so house and engine batteries are always ready to go. Could also clip a small wire from B16 to B14/B15 at the isolator but too hard to get to. I do watch my voltmeters to make sure voltages are OK. Unless I do this, after a couple of weeks, the engine batteries are in the low 12V range. Good to keep ignition keys on the wire so as not to forget before starting.

Bob, too hard to get to the isolator and easy to make a bad mistake in cramped area with jumper cables. Have to crawl on belly like reptile to get to it.

After we took delivery and before I found out our isolator had been incorrectly wired a couple of owners back, I was at my son't wedding out in the country and had everything electrical running. In the morning all batteries were dead, dead, dead. I jumped the toad to the engine batteries, put a stick on the gas pedal for a fast idle and made coffee. After about 15 minutes, the Detroit fired right up and everything was well and good again.

We have a 2003 Foretravel U320. I can see part of a start battery near the engine and the house batteries are somewhere.

Some ads that I've seen list remote battery jump terminals. Just wondering if someone else has found them.

If it's like our 2003, your house batteries are likely accessed via the second compartment on the passenger (curb) side, behind the panel on the rearward wall of the bay.
