Headboard

We're not impressed with the colors of the headboard (or the window treatment, for that matter) and we'd like to change things a bit. How does the headboard come off? Is there a fastener under the buttons at the bottom? How far down does the mirror go? Picture 1 is the whole headboard, and picture 2 shows one of the buttons.

Our 93 did not have the bottom buttons.  Pop off the caps, and you might well find screws.  Ours just lifted straight up, off two wall hangers and we did without it from day 3.  We never even removed the wall hangers on the mirror.

David,

On ours, take the buttons (4) off there will be screws under the fabric.

Lift up on bottom of head board once screws are undone, its on 2 hooks. Our mirror is behind the head board about 4 inches.

Easy, then if you want just recover ^.^d
