Mysterious Water Leak

Hi, you we just went through a couple periods of brutal rain, and even with our cover, we ended up with significant water on the floor right behind the step up area that sits between the front setas, and hides the water tank.

I have Dicor'd, and siliconed everywhere that looks the slightest bit dubious. The previous owner kept the coach well-maintained, but I understand that roof maintenance is/should be an annual item. It looks, and is in good shape. Last Summer we drove 10k miles through some torrential rainstorms, and sat in the Rockies watching ark after ark float by, nary a leak to be seen, or found.

All I can think at this point, is that, perhaps the trim pieces that connect the from motorhome front cap to the side walls all had slightly loose screws (road vibration?).

Does this seem possible? Even on the level jacks, my coach angles slightly downhill in my driveway.


Frustrating.

Not sure if this will help, but we had a leak in the same area behind the drivers seat. I removed the couch and sprayed water from the "Bottom towards the roof area "  above the left front wheel where the heater is located and found our leak..!!! water was getting in behind the secondary flashing of the front  heater area. Sealed all the flashing and retested..NO LEAKS. !!

Read through this thread as they had a similar problem in the same area.  Leak revisited

Read about pressurizing inside with blower of some sort and putting soapy solutions around the outside looking for bubbles from air leaking from inside to outside, which could be an entry point for rain water.

I have a leak in left back corner of bedroom on my 1994 U225 Grand Villa. water marks go up to cabinets but when I look inside I can't tell where it's coming from. The blower inside and soap suds outside may help, but has anyone had a leak there that could help me. The water damaged the walnut paneling in the very corner only. I had a clearance light with a very rusty screw and repaired that about 2 years ago. That must not have been the trouble.

I have mentioned this before but all coaches seem to leak from the screws that hold trim together. Another place is the clearance lights AND the screws holding them in place. ALL screws should be tightend at least twice a year and I remove each one and put a dab of Polyurethane on them then replace--not silicone.
For the lights, caulk around the three sides and leave bottom alone as a drain.
If you have any pop rivets in body panels for sun covers, these too must be caulked in centre.

We had a back inside cabinet wetness, we determined to be form condensation inside the cabinet on cold days, because the other side of the cabinet wall is not insulated enough. We now leave that corner more open to let air circulate better.
